More about Michelle…

Michelle Zhang (she/her) graduated from Santa Clara University with a B.S. in Biology and a double minor in Public Health Science and Economics. After working in a neuroscience lab for a year, she moved across the country to pursue her M.S. in Sociomedical Sciences at the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health. She then joined the community health team at the Ronald McDonald House New York, spearheading various public health education and DEI initiatives both within the House and for the community at large.

Michelle has since taken a step in a different direction, taking time to train professionally as a dancer and develop her artistry. She is deeply passionate about all things arts in health, and is interested in exploring the different ways in which we can leverage the interdisciplinary arts within our ongoing fight for a better tomorrow.
